Appearance: Saioh has deep, dark blue hair, long enough to flow down to his waist and perfectly straight. In the center at the front, from above his nose, a plume of silvery-white hair flows straight up, feathering slightly at the end, and the hair framing the sides of his face is a lighter blue than his main hair. At the back, towards the sides of his head, his hair tails off into slight points, somewhat resembling cat ears. His eyes are a deep purple color, and rimmed with thick black eyeliner. When he uses his powers, they glow an even brighter purple.

Saioh's outfit is rather simple. He wears a short, white hooded cloak, that ends right above the base of his wings. This is worn over a simple long-sleeved, pale gray top, and faded blue pants which cover white boots with pale blue soles. He also wears one earring in each ear. The earring consists of three gold bead on top of each other, the middle one containing a small blue gem. Below the beads is another gold part, this one resembling a slightly curved fang.

Finally, from between his shoulder blades extend two white wings. They're quite large, although not huge. However, while the right one is whole, the left is torn just past the joint. At the torn edge there are a few feathers around it, but the area itself is just plain skin, with a few scars.
Personality: Saioh comes across as rather mysterious. He tends to be rather secretive, and not very trusting, due to the problems he had while Edo's deputy. Rather cold generally, although he can be perfectly pleasant and indeed rather charming when he wants to be; which generally means when it benefits him in some way.

He is rather dominant and at times bossy; he's more used to giving orders than taking them, and was well-prepared to become ruler, although when it's beneficial to his own goals, he will take orders with no questions asked.

Saioh's not often cheerful, normally only managing a rather obviously fake cheerfulness, although it's one that seems to fool people surprisingly often; most likely because he uses a mixture of his powers and his words to make it appear more realistic. On the other hand he's also very rarely depressed or sad, more often than not simply remaining rather impassive when it comes to emotions. The only emotion he displays quite often is anger, although a lot of the time it's more to back his orders up when disobeyed, as opposed to the genuine emotion.
Abilities/Strengths: Rather clever, Saioh is often able to bend people to his will with just his words, supplementing them with his powers when necessary. He's quite athletic, but doesn't often show it, generally preferring to use his wit as opposed to physical power. Saioh is also able to summon small amounts of Light energy, and read tarot cards.
Weaknesses: While he's fast, Saioh isn't actually particularly strong physically, and the loss of his left wing reduced both his speed and strength. As well as that, he's also only able to fly for very short distances, and anything further than about 50 metres tends to be pretty painful for him. He's also firmly grounded in his belief in destiny, and if something goes against that it tends to stump him somewhat.
Notable Possessions: A small pearl figurine of a standing cat, with amethysts for eyes.

History: Saioh grew up in a world that was divided into two sides, that of the Light and that of the Darkness, that were constantly at war, Saioh himself being on the Light side. When Edo Phoenix became ruler, he chose a man named DD as his deputy and heir, and Saioh was DD's apprentice. If Edo had died, DD would have become ruler and Saioh would have been his deputy, but it was then found out that DD had murdered Edo's father, and he was executed.

Saioh then became Edo's deputy, and chose as his apprentice Marufuji Ryou. On top of that, he used his powers to brainwash Manjyoume Jun, the apprentice of Darkness' side's deputy, onto the Light side. This caused a fight between Saioh and the deputy of Darkness' side, Fubuki, during which Saioh lost most of his left wing, and Fubuki most of his right. Fubuki then seduced Ryou onto the Darkness side, forcing Saioh to take Manjyoume as his apprentice instead.

A few months later, Fubuki was captured, and Yusuke, the leader of the Darkness side, came to reclaim him. Saioh was ordered to leave Edo and Yusuke alone, and before he was able to return to his ruler, he was brought to Econtra.
